GLO Hotel Art is the perfect venue choice for an urban city wedding. Helsinki’s most beloved Art Nouveau castle comes with a rich history and pulsating international atmosphere that will give your event roots and wings, the magnificent details of the stone castle will give your event a magical effect. Our location cannot be compared – the court and Helsinki’s most famous churches are located at walking distance from the hotel.

It is important for us that you focus only and completely on enjoying your day. Our team will make your wedding party wishes come to life, so that you and your guests can enjoy being, partying and creating beautiful memories.

By choosing one of our wedding packages you are choosing to not worry about anything. The package includes a pre-planning meeting with our head waiter, a wedding tasting menu as well as a cloakroom for the guests. You also have the option to hire a florist through us.

Spaces: something old, something new

GLO Hotel Art was built in 1903 and is protected by the Finnish National Board of Antiquities. The stone arched windows, bold doors and colourful ornaments fascinate the imagination, your eyes will rest on the building's immense details filled with Kalevala themes.

All our spaces are unique: in the tall and spectacular Jugend hall you can organise a wonderful party for over 100 people. Fresco’s charming ceiling paintings will give your event an extremely beautiful ground, in Apila, the weddings are celebrated under luck clovers found in the original wall painting, the lighted windows will make your party have a unique feel.

Dinner together is the wedding’s essence. Whether it’s a standing or sitting dinner, our head waiter will design the perfect setting for your party. Our wedding cakes are in hands of the city’s’ best bakery, made with fresh ingredients and baked in a modern and classic way.

Arriving: a castle in the middle of the Design District

GLO Hotel Art is located in Lönnrotinkatu, in Helsinki’s Design District area. The hotel has very good walking and transport connections to the centre of Helsinki, the airport, as well as everywhere else in the capital region. The closes tram stop is Aleksanterin teatteri, where trams 6 and 6T stop.

For the ones arriving by car, there is 8 warm parking spaces in two floors under the hotel. Autoparkki is responsible of the parking area. The prices are max. 24,50 € / day, the hour starts with 3,50 €.
